The Department of Computer Science enthusiastically hosted a five-day 'Ganesh Utsav 2026' from September 14th to September 18th, 2026.

Organized by the students, the festival brought together the entire departmental community, with students, professors and staff members actively participating in the daily rituals and celebrations. Everyone joined hands to manage the decorations, daily aarti and prasad distribution, reflecting a strong sense of unity and teamwork outside the classroom.

A major highlight of the utsav took place on September 17th when the department was deeply honored to welcome the University Registrar, Shree Ajaysinhji K. Jadeja. The Registrar graciously joined the department faculty, staff and students to participate in the divine Ganesh Aarti, adding to the spiritual fervor of the evening and encouraging the students in their cultural endeavors.

Lord Ganesha is universally revered as the Lord of Knowledge, Wisdom and New Beginnings. We pray that Lord Ganesha continues to shower his divine blessings upon our students, faculty, staff and the entire university family, guiding us all toward academic excellence and removing all obstacles from our path of learning.
