The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Saurashtra University, Rajkot, in association with the Indian Red Cross Society, successfully organized a Thalassemia Screening Camp for B.Pharm Semester 2 students on 16 July 2026.The camp was organized to raise awareness about thalassemia and encourage early screening among students. A total of 48 B.Pharm Semester 2 students participated and underwent thalassemia screening. The screening was conducted smoothly with the dedicated support of the Indian Red Cross Society.The initiative was well received by the students and played an important role in promoting awareness about the significance of early detection and prevention of thalassemia.
