The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), Saurashtra University, Rajkot organized a One-Day Activity on 21st April 2026 to mark World Creativity and Innovation Day at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Saurashtra University.The theme of the event was “Solutions to Day-to-Day Life Challenges & Solving Existing Problems of Society”.

The objective was to encourage students to think creatively and develop innovative approaches for solving real-world and societal challenges.Two activities were conducted: 1) Essay Writing Competition where students expressed innovative ideas for real-world problems, and 2) Handmade Poster Competition where participants showcased creativity through posters depicting solutions to everyday challenges.

The event successfully promoted out-of-the-box thinking and linked pharmaceutical knowledge with societal issues. It enhanced students’ creative, writing, and presentation skills while creating awareness about innovation in pharmacy.

Students of B.Pharm, M.Pharm and faculty members had attained this event.
