Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences is AICTE, PCI and UGC-SAP approved first P.G. department in entire Saurashtra region established in 2006. The department has emerged as a centre of excellence in pharmaceutical education, research, and innovation.It imparts PCI approved B.Pharm, M. Pharm in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance, Pharmacognosy, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Regulatory Affairs and Ph.D. in Pharmacy. Department is the only institute in entire Gujarat state who runs grant in aid Pharm.D. course. The department is strongly committed to research and academic excellence. Till now more than 250 research papers have been published in various referred national and International journals and conferences and more than 250 papers have been presented by students and faculties. More than 25 major and minor research projects have been sanctioned by various National Bodies like UGC, DST, AICTE, ICMR, GUJCOST, DBT and GSBTM.
